Solidaridad con acampadas de 15-M en Dublin Cork Galway (Irlanda)

From Cork, Ireland, we send to 15-M in Spain a message of hope and solidarity, because we are completely and utterly in harmony with the global protest.

Mientras en el centro de las ciudades españolas proliferan acampadas de ciudadanos indignados, jóvenes o no, que reclaman una Democracia real ya!, ante la sorpresa y preocupación de los partidos mayoritarios, el fenómeno parece contagiarse a otras ciudades europeas. ¡También en Irlanda! Y eso merece contarse en Innisfree:

Mañana, sábado día 21, en solidaridad con la #spanishrevolution, se han convocado a través de las redes sociales varias concentraciones en las principales ciudades irlandesas:

ante el Spire de O’Connell St., en Dublín, a las 2 de la tarde,
en el Grand Parade de Cork, a las 12 del mediodía,
en el Arco Español (Spanish Arch) en Galway a las 2 de la tarde.

Concentración solidaria con las acampadas en Cork (Irlanda)

El día 21, en el centro de Cork (Irlanda) se ha celebrado una concentración de apoyo a la movilización en España a la que asistieron 200 personas, en su mayoría españoles, pero también representantes de organizaciones locales.

Los solidari@s de Cork convocaron también otra concentración para el domingo 22. Y reunidos en asamblea han decidido realizar acciones cada día mientras se mantengan las acampadas en el estado español.

15 de Mayo en sol, los madrileños, tras las protestas de del movimiento 15M tomaron, literalmente, la plaza de Sol. Eran apenas unas 30personas. Hoy, 21 de Mayo, los hijos y los nietos anónimos de aquellos que vivieron un mundo gris y que no han olvidado la oscura sombra con la que pasaron sus vidas, han criado y educado una generación que puede ver la luz, una generación basada en la solidaridad y la igualdad. Pero una vez que hemos chocado con el mundo real, no con el mundo que nos querían ofrecer nuestros padres y que era mucho mas diferente de lo que lo están transformando unos pocos, somos conscientes de nuestra fuerza unidos y de cuales son las armas que podemos utilizar. Somos la generación sin casa, sin curro, sin nada que perder y todo por ganar, la generación sin miedo, la generación que quiere todo y lo quiere aquí y ahora Estamos en nuestro derecho y obligación de exigirlo.

Cada uno de nosotr@s tenemos un mundo nuevo en nuestros corazones y la rabia y la alegría suficiente para crearlo y cambiarlo. Todo lo que se está desarrollando no debe quedar sólo aquí, no debe quedar sólo en un grito mudo. Cuando el próximo día 22 haya pasado hay que continuar, por que el cambio que buscamos y la vida que queremos para el futuro no nos lo van a regalar, la tenemos que arrebatar de la clase política corrupta, acabando con este sistema capitalista que nos esta llevando a la autodestrucción. Por eso, desde Cork, Irlanda, mandamos nuestro apoyo y solidaridad a tod@s, ya que nos identificamos muy profundamente con la globalidad de la protesta. Desde aquí toda nuestra fuerza. Todavía nos faltan cien mil noches de revolución para escribir una página en la historia, la página de los vencedores.

statement of support to 15-M:

May 15th, Sol Square, Madrid.

People from Madrid literally took Sol Square after the protest held by the 15M movement. They were only around 30 people. Today May 21th, all the anonimous children and grandchildren of those who lived in such a dark period of history, have not forgotten the dark shadow that were their lives. They have raised and educated a generation that can see the light, a generation based on solidarity and equality. But once we face the real world, not the one that our parents wanted to give us, though, and much more different from what a few are actually transforming, we know that we are strong if we keep united, all together. We are aware of the weapons we can use because we have no home, no job, nothing to loose and all to gain. We are the fearless generation, the ones who want it all and want it now. We have the right and the obligation to demand it.

Each one of us have a new world within ourselves and in our hearts, and there is enough anger and happiness to make a real change. Everything is happening here and now,and it is going to last!

it is not a miningless effort. After the Spanish elections, on 22nd May, we have to keep going, we musn’t let the corrupted politicians rule and conrol us any more. We have to dismantle the capitalist system that only means destruction for our world and its people. That is why from Cork, Ireland, we send you a message of hope and solidarity, because we are completely and utterly in harmony with the global protest. You have all our support, we know there are still one hundred thousands nights of revolution in which we will be able to write a new page in history, the page of the winners.

The demonstration will take place this Saturday at the National Monument in Grand Parade - Cork city from 2ish pm onwards. The protest has been called by members of Ireland’s Spanish community and by local Irish people who support the ongoing protests in Spain. ...Growing numbers of Spaniards have been taking to the streets over the last three weeks demanding a real choice in the forthcoming elections. Frustrated by a steadily rising unemployment rate, economic stagnation and a two-party sytem that offers little political choice, old and young Spaniards have been protesting in central plazas and thoroughfares the length and breadth of Spain. Taking the Arab revolts as their inspiration the peaceful demonstrations have a distinctive grassroots feel and have been organised via social networking and word-of-mouth. An international call for solidarity and support has been made through social networking sites, blogs and twitter, and already protests have been organised in more than 650 international cities around the world, including Galway, Cork and Dublin. Spanish Revolution in Cork...

Workers and students from the areas of Spain living here in Cork protested today on the Grand Parade in support and solidarity with the movement for ‘Real Democracy’ in their homeland. Over a hundred turned up in pouring rain to voice and sing their anger at the failure of capitalism and lack of hope and possibilities that is offered to us under the present ‘free market’ regime.

The protesters called on Cork people to support and join them and we did! The protest continued throughout the afternoon and was marked by its noisiness and determination. One young protestor, Javier, told me that the protest in Spain ‘linked with those in Tahrir Square’ (in Cairo in Egypt) but ‘they are about different issues’. The ‘system has failed and we need a new way’, he added. ‘The protest will continue here in Cork each Saturday. We are in solidarity with those in Spain.’
